Gone With The Wind

75 years has passed since the novel, "Gone with the Wind" was first published in 1936.  In our home, we happen to love the movie, and rent it quite often.  Georgia and I spend the next couple of days, walking around the house quoting  Scarlett O'Hara to each other. Perhaps it's time we purchased a copy.

"No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how"

"I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow"

"Tara! Home. I'll go home. And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all... tomorrow is another day"

"Rhett... if you go, where shall I go, what shall I do?
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn"

  1. Gone With The Wind was one of my all time favorites. I own a copy on VHS, two tapes long! I watched it with the kids a couple years ago when we were studying that time period. I should dust it off and watch again, although I will wait for a rainy day first. It is so long!
